does the DES student need to be taught in order for them to achieve
the DES student goal?
It is a developmental process that consists
of five specific content areas:
- "Setting the Table"
- Program awareness.
- "Just the Facts"
- Teaching facts about mood altering substances.
- "Student Assessment"
- Assimilation of the facts to personal experience.
- "Student Decision"
- Development of a personal usage/life plan.
- "Clearing the Table"
- Life after the DES program.
